Book Night Change

Hello Ladies
Laura W has requested that we change book night as she has an appointment that night every month.  I too have found that Lyndon and I have Roundtable that night and was going to have to start coming less as well.  I would like to propose that we keep it as it is for November and discuss whether a change would be possible for future dates.  If you vehemently disagree let me know, if not we will plan on discussing a change at Laura C's.  Thanks.  Heather

Hey Scholars
I need to change our time to meet so that we can be outside part of the time with some light.  I want us to meet at 6 pm (eat before you come though we are just having treats).  We are going on a little field trip so wear walking shoes and a jacket since we will be outside.  Please be on time, we will be leaving my home no later than 6:15.  I look forward to seeing you all.  Heather

Scholars mark you calenders for scholar club next week.  Thursday, October 27th at 7:00 pm.  I hope all of you have been really thinking about the goal you want to set for the next 9 months.  Please write it on a index card and bring it with you that night.  I also want to encourage (though it is not required) you to read the book Do Hard Things.  This book discusses much of what I plan to talk about with you guys this year.  It is not required, but there is a treat involved for those who do read it.  I have a copy and am willing to share if you want it. I will not be there. Brandon and I will be in Boston doing the Freedom Trail for our 14th anniversary. What a great book to get us in the patriotic spirit.

Hi Guys
The promised evening of night games and junk food is upon us!  We will meet Friday October 7th at my house.  We will roast hot dogs and do smores around the fire pit and then have night games.  We will meet at 6 and play until 9.  Parents I will leave my home at 9:00 to return kids home.  Send an RSVP if you can make it and I will assign something for you to bring.  Thanks.  Heather
